This roundtable explores how digital archiving serves as a form of resistance for marginalised communities confronting not only historical erasure but also structural injustice and cultural dispossession. Centering projects like Plantation Life, which documents plantation-worker oral histories, we’ll discuss how archive material and digital tools can be used to reclaim narratives, protect vulnerable knowledge, and mobilise for justice.

Participants will discuss their insights on how archives are built, protected, and activated in the fight for human rights.
